Introduction
Guardian ecl was founded in 1960 by John Crawley and to this day is still owned and managed as a family business by Tony and Dawn, his son and daughter along with a number of other key Directors that have been with the company for many years. John’s philosophy of promoting employees within the business when possible is still one of Guardian ecl's ongoing strategies.
Over the years, Guardian ecl has gained a wealth of experience in designing, planning, engineering and installing all aspects of electrical & data services. Guardian ecl’s head office located in Romford Essex, expanded its services to cover the country nationwide by opening two new offices in Burscough Lancashire and Newcastle in 2003.
Guardian ecl has grown into a company with a turn over excceding £15m. A company is only as good as it's employees and that is truly the case at Guardian ecl, with 95% of the staff being long term serving and with a true team spirit, it’s a proud working environment to be involved with.
Guardian ecl has primarily specialised in the retail and commercial sectors working long term for a number of Blue Chip clients. In recent years Guardian ecl has developed new departments including project management, mechanical & building services as well as manufacturing bespoke furniture and shop fittings. Due to clients demands we are now able to offer the complete package from concept & design stage through to completion. Our People
Our biggest asset is our staff. Many of our staff have worked with the company from the outset of their careers as apprentices and this continuity is key to the high quality of service we provide. All our staff undergo continuous training, including Health & Safety, to ensure that we can deal with all aspects of design, installation and project management in a rapidly-changing commercial environment where new systems and options appear on almost a daily basis. meet our people...
Resources
Our fleet of vehicles enables us to mobilise staff on behalf of clients if, and when, the situation arises. Our vans are equipped with the latest range of testing equipment as well as the means to provide a comprehensive range of electrical services when called upon. We are also able to provide a 24-hr service where appropriate.
Project Completion
On completion of each project the client receives a comprehensive hand-over package including specific details of the installation, test sheets, drawings and all relevant documentation. All documentation is produced in hard copy and digital form to provide clients with a site specific operation and maintenance manual for inclusion in the health and safety file.
Completion doesn't need to be the end of our involvement in a project. We are happy to provide ongoing maintenance, support and upgrades where required. In 2002 we were awarded a five year partnering project with John Lewis Partnership/ Waitrose.
Business Continuity
With Guardian ecl's Business Protector Service you contact us and we mobilise our team of technicians, installers, electricians and craftsmen to assess the damage (working closely with insurance assessors, investigators and your own management team) and immediately plan a recovery solution.
This may involve temporary fitting out of new premises, expansion of an adjacent unit or priority refurbishment of the damaged areas. Guardian ecl's Business Protector Service can often have you up and running with in 48 hours.
