Background:
James started work with T.W.Broadbent in their southern division and completed his apprenticeship. He left in 1984 and became self employed for 12 years.
In 1996 James joined RTT engineering working in many roles from an approved electrician up to M&E site manager. Whilst at RTT he worked on the 100% HBS project at Gatwick airport reconfiguring all baggage handling equipment to incorporate X Ray machines to detect explosives in baggage. Other projects included the fire alarm replacement at Gatwick North Terminal and a total refurbishment of Guys Medical School.
Since joining Guardian ECL in 2005 James has been working on Waitrose extensions and Laser projects, as well as some small works.
