Name:
Will Watson
Job Role: Building Services Construction Manager
Joined Guardian: 1994

Background:

Will started his working career with an Apprenticeship at MPA Ltd, training as a Corrosion Engineer. Here he learnt the trades of powder-coating and spraying, and Will soon became a Foreman, especially on contracts involving Blue-Chip Companies, such as BP and British Gas.

In 1983 Will opted for a change in career, which saw him enter the construction industry with BCB Bricklayers, mainly working on housing developments. He joined J.K. Pepper in 1986, and utilised multiple disciplines working on projects for companies such as John Lewis and British Rail.

This valuable background experience stood Will in good stead, and he joined Guardian in 1994. Whilst at Guardian, he has enjoyed various roles within the company, including Site Foreman, Manager and Supervisor, mainly working on large projects.

Will became Building Services Construction Manager in 2008, an integral part of the fledgling Building Services Dept with the Guardian organisation. Will continues to enjoy this role, calling on his wealth of experience to deliver a co-ordinated construction package to the client.

Will recently undertook The Site Management Safety Training Scheme for the Construction and Civil Engineering Industries, and now holds the Construction Site Manager’s Safety Certificate.
