John Lewis Head Office, Victoria
Description:
Area previously used to house product testing room ( White Goods) and office area. The area will then be reconfigured to allow the testing of white goods in one room and the testing and development of IT systems within another area.
Project Brief:
To remove all existing finishes to floor, wall & Ceilings. Remove various dividing walls , reception area and all visible existing services. Once demolition was completed the area was reconfigured with the use of dividing walls atop of bund walls to ensure both areas remain watertight.
New AC units were installed with an under floor plenum to allow cooling of the server cabinets and server benches . Decommissioning of existing AC units
New containment installed under floor and between ground - 1st , 3rd - 5th and 5th - 7th floors
New cat 6 data cables installed throughout and fibre links installed
New ceilings installed on Ground floor , existing ceiling on 1st floor revamped via electrostatic coating to comply with value engineering ethos
New raised floor constructed over all under floor services and floor tiled laid as requested
New lighting power and lighting supplied and installed throughout
Project Duration: 8 weeks
