This store was the third acquisition store Guardian worked at for Waitrose in the first half of 2009; the store was previously trading as a Somerfield prior to its acquisition by Waitrose.

Guardian stripped out most of the redundant electrical services within the store and installed new systems as below.
Guardian also installed all of the site temporary electrics for RG Group, the Main Contractor.
The Guardian remit was for the full electrical package which included full design; the design remit was taken from a scope issued via the client’s electrical consultant, Synergy.

The working period was only a fortnight, and this short project therefore required day and night work, 24/7 for the two weeks on site. Guardian also had restrictions due to noise, limiting the working time during the night, and also at weekends.
Guardian installed a new Mains Panel in the ground floor warehouse, which incorporated a generator change-over panel, complete with connection point. New remote panels were also installed, as required.
Guardian installed a new H&V Panel, also in the ground floor warehouse.
